For more information, visit cherokee-SUMMARY The Logistics Senior Analyst will provide Integrated Product Support (IPS) program management and life-cycle logistics support services in the acquisition and sustainment to Naval Aviation Training Systems Program

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following:

Provides support to Senior Logistics Manager and correspondingly to the Program Office APML/Deputies and LEMs across the full spectrum of IPS elements.
Support subject matter experts for respective organizations, including Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL), Support Equipment (SE), Propulsion and Power, Technical Data, etc.
Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems.
Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life-cycle cost (LCC) analysis and control; weapons systems hardware(HW) and software (SW) standardization and compatibility; Integrated Product Support (IPS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program Test & Evaluation (T&E) planning and execution; and, IPS/R&M program management analysis.
Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.
Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.
Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY This position may have supervisory and/or limited management authority based on the assigned activity to include providing training as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Masters degree required or or a Bachelor's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience may be substituted for a Master's degree
Minimum three (3) years of full-time equivalent experience in operational logistics support or maintenance engineering.
Minimum three (3) years of experience in technical analysis of operational IPS requirements.
Minimum (3) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning.
Experience demonstrating ability to perform IPS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of Department of Defense (DoD) weapons systems/equipment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent writing and oral communication skills (English).
Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen WORK ENVIRONMENT Work will primarily be performed in a climate-controlled office environment

Telework may be available depending on the specific assignment and must be approved by the company and Contracting Officer Representative
The work environment may be augmented by indoor and/or outdoor aircraft maintenance industrial and/or training settings (hangar, flight-line, classroom, and other spaces) in operational Naval Aviation environments ashore and afloat
Candidate may be required to travel away from primary location in CONUS up to 10% of the time
Cherokee Federal has suspended it's COVID mandate
