    We're looking to build a world-class team of game-makers: folks bursting with creativity, who balance candor with compassion, and always, always, always hold themselves and their peers accountable to what's best for players.

    As the Engineering Manager for our Gameplay team, you will be an integral part of the development on our brand-new, immersive open-world game.

    Working closely with engineering leadership on your team and the studio, shape the engineering standards, culture, and practices within the gameplay engineering team.

    While staying grounded in the product and technology, provide communication and delivery accountability to the group as a whole.

    This role reports directly to the VP of Engineering, providing a unique opportunity to influence the direction, methods, and philosophy of our engineering practices.


    What you'll do:
    Manage a team of gameplay engineers, fostering a creative and collaborative environment while providing mentorship to our growing team
    Coordinate with the studio to ensure deployment of the team in the most impactful way, establishing documentation, planning, and process for team deliveries
    Improve the code quality, feature development, and overall health by promoting our values and implementing best practices
    Stay active in the iterative development process, ensuring exceptional player experiences and high engineering standards
    You are a great fit if:

    5+ years of game engineering experience
    2+ years building and leading gameplay engineering teams
    Experience with modern game engines, digital content creation tool, and their development pipelines (i.e. - Unity, Unreal)
    Experience working on live service-based game and/or cross-platform game development and deployment

    What we offer:

    Annual salary range:
    $157,000 - $231,000
    Making great games is hard, so we do our best to make the other parts less hard.
