We're currently seeking dedicated Housekeepers for Spang Crest, the Luthercare community in Lebanon, PA. We are currently hiring for part-time, 25-30 hours per week, and FT 40 hours per week. EOW/EOH.

WHAT YOU DO:

As a Housekeeper at Spang Crest, you're an integral part of ensuring our building and workspaces are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. You'll do this by performing a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:

Dust and polish furniture; stock supplies; clean wash basins, tubs, and commodes; empty wastepaper baskets in resident, team member, and client areas, and collect and dispose of garbage in designated areas.

Perform dry and wet mopping of floors; operate vacuums, carpet extractors, and pressure washers; and clean windows, screens, ceiling lights, walls, and window treatments.

Clean and prepare residential living spaces in preparation for new residents.

Assist with laundry operations, which includes operating washers, dryers, irons, and collecting and delivering laundry from and to designated areas. ABOUT SPANG CREST: Spang Crest, located at 945 Duke Street in Lebanon, is a 105-bed skilled nursing and rehab center. The community is part of Luthercare, a not-for-profit, faith-based, and mission-driven organization based in Lititz, Pa. Luthercare provides a network of services through its full continuum of care with three communities in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to lift up to thirty (30) pounds frequently

Ability to push/pull up to fifteen (15) pounds of force frequently

Ability to perform the functions required to push large carts, handcarts, appliance dollies and vacuum cleaners/carpet extractors.

PREFERRED JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES/EDUCATION:

One (1) year of directly related experience

Basic computer skills
