Job summary
The patient care technician provides safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. They assist in setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, maintain a safe working environment, and support quality improvement activities.
Responsibilities
- Welcome assigned patients and inquire about their wellbeing.
- Evaluate vascular access for patency, perform cannulation, administer heparin as delegated.
