Description

The rehab tech provides supervised assistance with the care, treatment, and exercise programs of hospital in patients as assigned.

Rehab techs provide the following assistance to the lead inpatient therapists with the following tasks:
Assisting therapists with transporting and preparing patients for treatments.
Preparing supplies and equipment and setting up treatment rooms for therapy sessions.
Cleaning equipment and treatment rooms before and after therapy sessions.
Maintaining equipment and notifying the therapist if there are any problems.
Performing routine, nonclinical patient care tasks.
Maintaining inventory supplies, ordering stock, and keeping stock areas clean and organized.


Weekends and Holidays RequiredEducation:
Baccalaureate degree in an Exercise related field (e.g., Kinesiology/Exercise Science) preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology.


Experience:
One or more years experience in health related field preferred

Licenses/Certificates:
Current BLS certification.
