    **Job Summary**

    The Warehouse Worker will focus their efforts in our student resident mail and package distribution centers, providing direct support to students living on campus in the residence halls and apartments.

    **Department Summary**

    SBS-Distribution Services primarily provides timely and accurate mail, parcel, and freight distribution to and from the campus while striving to exceed efficiency, customer service, and sustainability thresholds.

    **Key Qualifications**

    Ability to use tact and diplomacy to effectively handle a broad range of high level and sensitive interpersonal situations with diverse personalities, and to respond appropriately to conflicts and problems.

    Ability to organize, plan and provide lead work direction work to others.

    Ability to initiate, establish, and foster communication and teamwork by maintaining a positive, cooperative, productive work atmosphere in and outside the University with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse population and with those from various cultural backgrounds.

    Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively communicate information in a clear and understandable manner, both verbally and in writing.

    **Education and Experience**

    One (1) year of progressively responsible general office clerical work, stock clerk work, or specialized postal or delivery service work.

    **Salary:**

    Anticipated Hiring Range: $30,000 - $36,996 annually

    Classification Range: $29,124 - $48,060 annually

    This position is paid under the 10/12 pay plan, where salary for 10 months is distributed over 12 months with July and August off (with pay, benefits, and vacation/sick leave accrual continuing through months off).
