Background Information:
Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), provider of automated software testing, data analysis, and cybersecurity solutions for complex, mission-critical systems for the US Department of Defense (DOD) and commercial customers, is seeking a System Test Engineer to be based in our Mt.
The Systems Test Engineer will work with senior leadership and a fast-paced team of mission-focused engineers to solve some of our customer's toughest challenges.
Initiative, creativity, reliability, and efficient teamwork will be required to successfully deliver innovative solutions in this dynamic customer space.Overview:
We are looking for a System Test Engineer to perform system level product testing as well as product customer support.
In addition, the System Test Engineer role will also work with the customer providing product information/training, answering product questions, technical involvement with identifying solutions to customer issues.
All applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active U.S. Security Clearance.Responsibilities Include:
Review users stories/use cases/requirements to create product test plans
Execute System, Integration, and Regression testing
Design and develop automation test scripts when needed
Work in a team environment with testers and developers to troubleshoot issues
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in system testing or technical support
Required Skills:
Experience in testing software and test automation
Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
Ability to travel approximately 10%
Preferred Skills:
Experience in integration and system level testing
Experience in test automation
Experience in Navy tactical systems
Familiar with Issue and Project Tracking software applications (e.g. Jira)
