    Part Time Package Handler- La Crosse, WI

    • Spee-Dee Delivery is looking for a self-motivated and independent worker who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. As a Package Handler you would unload freight from fleet vehicles, accurately sort freight, and load freight in a timely manner to ensure quick delivery.

    Hours and Wages:

  • Flexible hours: Monday-Friday, 4:00PM-6:30PM
  • Starting wage: $ per hour

    • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unloads each package by hand from fleet vehicles
  • Scans package barcode labels as unloaded for tracking purposes
  • Sorts each package by zip code, city, or state
  • Stacks freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently
  • Washes fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed
  • Performs light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned

    • Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight in the warehouse that can weigh up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently
  • Ability to work with all types of freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
