    Description

    Provides professional nursing care as directed by the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Centers policies, procedures, and protocols; i.e.

    provides primary and specialty health care services in collaboration with other members of the health care team while integrating the nursing roles of clinical, teaching, consulting, care coordination/case management, and leadership.

    Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice, incorporating the principles of Nursing Process when delivering care.

    Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing.
    ~ Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
    ~ 1 year of recent RN experience in a patient care setting or clinical commensurate.
    ~2 years - Behavioral Health assignments only: In acute or ambulatory Behavioral Health.2 years of recent RN experience in a patient care setting in area(s) of responsibility.
    ~3 years - Behavioral Health assignments only: Recent prior experience in a hospital and out-patient setting.
    ~ Recent prior experience with phone triage.
