    Description


    Pugh Executive Search has partnered with a PE-backed manufacturing company in the search for a Corporate Controller who will serve as the right hand to the CFO.

    This is a high-exposure position supervising a small accounting team.

    The candidate will be responsible for improving, streamlining, and automating the accounting processes, leading the g/l, monthly close and consolidated financial reporting, external audits, and liaising with tax consultants and other outside partners.

    The candidate will also be responsible for integrating acquisitions as needed and researching technical accounting.

    Requirements:
    Active CPA
    10+ years of accounting experience including public accounting and corporate experience currently sitting in the role of Controller or Assistant Controller of a $500M or above company
    Experience leading the monthly close process and managing a large accounting team (25 or more)
    Advanced financial reporting and analysis skills
    Experienced in creating monthly internal and external financial statements and operational reports. Must have experience managing the reports for Private Equity partners.
    Experienced in Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting/Management, and Capital Improvements.
    Acquisition and G/L integration, ASC606 and ASC842 implementation
    Experienced serving as the Audit and Banking Liaison
    Excellent Communication skills and Inspirational leader.
