    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Texas requiring a TX or compact license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a hospital setting on a Med/Surg unit
    Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
    13-week contract assignment
    Care for adult medical-surgical patients
    50 mile radius rule applies; local candidates are not eligible
    Med/Surg nurses are responsible for caring for a variety of adult patients with diverse diagnoses
    Holiday and weekend work may be required according to unit needs

    Requirements
    Active TX or compact RN license
    At least one year of recent Med/Surg experience
    Current AHA or ARC BLS certification valid through the first 30 days of assignment
    No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
    Submission requires US Social Security Number and date of birth (No Canadian SSNs accepted)
    At least one professional reference required
