Inpatient Adult Psych Locum Job NY

Details of Assignment:

• Location: An hour South of Syracuse, NY
• Duration: December 2024 April 2024
• Schedule: Monday- Friday
• Shift: 8-hour day (8a-5p / 9a-6p)
• Call: None
• Patient volume: 10-24 (volume split between physicians) Psych NP for support
• Scope: Adult only, average length of stay is 3-5 days (can go up to 10 if longer will transfer to a state facility)
• EMR: Meditech
• Hospital: 24-bed Behavioral Health department
• Group/support: 1-2 other Psychiatry physicians, + Psychiatry NP + additional Hospital support staff + Psychologist + 3 counselor s + 1 PMR
• Requirements: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible with NY license
• Travel lodging and Malpractice covered
