- Assessing the status of company IT, network, and security systems.
- Designing and implementing security networks and protocols.
- Inspecting and upgrading hardware to avoid vulnerability points.
- Upgrading security software on company systems.
- Inspecting and testing the security of the network.
- Running penetration tests on upgraded systems.
- Responding to security threats.
- Investigating security incidents and determining the cause of the breach
- Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies
- Drafting security policies and guidelines.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Requires 4-6 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- ITIL Foundations within 6 months.
- SECRET Clearance
- Security + CE
- MS Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate and/or a CISSP, Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) may be required.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Able to work Overtime as required.
- Must be available to travel as required.
- Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations.
- Knowledge of security protocols and standards, such as SSL/TLS, IPsec, and DNSSEC.
- Familiarity with security tools and software, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and Encryption software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- One of the following:
- Predominantly indoors in normal office environment.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach.
- Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
- May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time.
- Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
