We are seeking an experienced Advanced Quality Engineer to lead APQP efforts for new product development programs and current production programs as assigned.
The successful candidate will work closely with Customer and Supplier Quality contacts, together with Kendrick Production & Process Teams to understand and meet requirements.
They will serve as a core team member of Product Launch & Production teams and be the resident authority of Customer's Requirements and Expectations & also Kendrick's Launch, Manufacturing, Reporting Systems & Documentation expectations.
ResponsibilitiesLead APQP efforts for new product development programs and current production programs as assigned
Work closely with Customer and Supplier Quality contacts, together with Kendrick Production & Process Teams to understand and meet requirements
Serve as core team member of Product Launch & Production teams
Resident authority of Customer's Requirements and Expectations & also Kendrick's Launch, Manufacturing, Reporting Systems & Documentation expectations
Lead the implementation of quality systems and working closely with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering personnel during the development and execution of new products and technologies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in the automotive industry
Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and other quality tools
Experience working with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
