- Minimum of 2 years of experience: Demonstrated experience working for a Managed Service Provider is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies: Strong understanding and practical experience with Azure and Office 365 administration.
- Server and network management: Comfortable managing server technologies and networked computing environments.
- Microsoft Windows Server expertise: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server-related applications, services, and technologies such as AD, DHCP, DNS, Office 365, and Azure AD.
- Strong troubleshooting skills: Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues across different levels of network topology.
- Vendor coordination: Experience coordinating with vendors for problem resolution and hardware/software purchases.
- Communication and attention to detail: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the IT field.
- Hardware and software support: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues across servers, printers, and workstations.
- User account administration: Administer end-user accounts, permissions, and storage allocations, ensuring compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory standards.
- Technical support: Provide technical support for Microsoft server technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Hyper-V, and Microsoft Cloud services.
- Networking management: Implement and manage firewalls, managed switches, and other networking hardware.
- Technology strategy and project management: Assist clients in technology strategy, IT project management, reporting, and compliance.
- Network performance monitoring: Monitor network performance, implement optimizations, and ensure quality of service.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation including configurations, processes, and service records.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the service desk team to escalate and resolve high-level issues.
- Proactive maintenance: Conduct proactive maintenance and updates during scheduled downtime.
