Job Overview

Sr. DevOps Engineer is a challenging role at the Red Gate Group, where you will have the opportunity to lead the transformation of our defense client's technology infrastructure.

This position requires a strong background in DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines, as well as experience with containerization, Kubernetes, and automation tools. As a technical leader, you will shape the digital solutions landscape and identify new opportunities for capabilities that drive the mission forward.

Key Responsibilities

Leverage your expertise to develop innovative solutions that support a mission-critical defense IT system.
Transform legacy systems and integrate advanced solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Mentor junior developers and guide them to become tomorrow's solutions architects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and manage Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure.
Evaluate and mitigate vulnerability findings related to container security technologies.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience building and supporting DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
3+ years of experience with containerization, building images, and orchestrating deployments in Kubernetes.
2+ years of experience managing tools deployed with Helm using ArgoCD or Flux and writing custom Helm charts.
2+ years of experience with automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions.
TS/SCI clearance.
