    R Description Leidos is seeking an energetic and experienced DevSecOps Systems Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility to join the Air Force Technical Application Center (AFTAC) US National Data Center (US NDC) team onsite at Patrick AFB, FL.

    The DevSecOps Engineer will work with the software, systems, hardware, and operations teams to design, implement, and automating build, release, deployment, monitoring and configuration activities.

    The team works with both on-premise systems and cloud hosted systems. A successful candidate will have strong priors around automation design and implementation in real-time systems or high-reliability environments.

    Primary Responsibilities * Develop, implement, and test tools and technologies for the development team's use, along with working to ensure seamless operations for the 24x7 mission support team.

    Adhering to security best practices to ensure cybersecurity compliance and mitigating risks and vulnerabilities is top priority. * Perform feasibility study and implementation of migrating a mission and development system to a Cloud CI/CD platform. * Produce and maintain system documentation. * Mentor colleagues while researching and apply new promising technologies/strategies to solve technical issues.

    Basic Qualifications * Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility * BS and 7+ yrs of related experience or MS and 5+ yrs of related experience * DoD IAT Level II certification (such as Security+) or willingness to achieve within 6 months of hire * Experience in AWS cloud as well as multi cloud platforms.

    * Experience in Infrastructure as Code, manual installation of COTS and GOTS products. * Experience in Kubernetes/EKS/AKS. * Experience with system level admin rights. * Experience in Zero Trust and other DOD specific rules and guidelines. * Experience in multiple DevOps tools such as Ansible, Docker, Artifactory, Fortify, Atlassian Tools Suite, Jazz suite, Gitlab. * Experience developing, maintaining, and administering microservices in cloud architecture environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication at a technical and management level. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in diagrams designs and other system engineer functions. * Knowledgeable with advanced scripting languages. * Experience Integrating static code analysis and other security mechanisms into pipeline. * Experience with configuration management of release products. * Ability to build and maintain documentation related to build processes and product environmental configurations.

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $101, $183,300.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
