    NOV Rig Technologies is looking for a Standardisation Engineer to join their team. Here, you will play a key role in writing, maintaining, and revising standardized documentation for NOV Rig Technologies Aftermarket Division.

    As a Standardisation Engineer at NOV, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on creating and updating global standardised documentation to meet the needs of NOV Aftermarket business lines. Operating within the Global Standardisation team, you will ensure the accuracy and clarity of the technical documents supporting NOV Rig Technologies Aftermarket Division by collaborating with various technical experts and engineers.

    In this position, you will be tasked with communicating effectively in English, gathering and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and requester requirements. Your responsibilities will involve producing user-friendly and precise documents, including parts lists, condition assessments, and inspection procedures for drilling, hoisting, and pressure control equipment, which will be utilized by a range of colleagues.

    Your daily responsibilities will include:

    • Effective communication with technical experts to grasp their needs.
    • Organizing and interpreting technical information provided verbally and in writing.
    • Creating user-friendly technical documents with clarity and precision.
    • Ensuring documents comply with relevant standards.
    • Identifying and resolving documentation issues.
    • Providing regular updates to supervisors.
    • Proposing process improvements.
    • Engaging in training sessions.
    • Experience with VBA / Visual Basic / Office Script (if applicable).
    Your skills and qualifications should include:

    • Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in an engineering or mechanical environment.
    • Knowledge of mechanical engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Familiarity with heavy machinery maintenance and repair.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Basic 3D modeling skills and experience with CAD software like SolidWorks or similar.
    • Excellent English communication skills.
