Sign On Bonus - $2500
The Clinical Dietitian I provides overall nutrition care to patients and is considered an entry-level role.
Assures that the nutritional needs of the individual patients are being met and that all documentation as it relates to the patient?s nutritional status is complete and accurate.
Plans and administers activities related to resident/patient nutrition care, complying with the standards established by Aramark Healthcare, regulatory agencies, and clients.
Establishes and maintains effective multidisciplinary relationships to provide a unified approach to patient/resident care. The Clinical Dietitians at the site gains exposure to both the Long Term Care and Pedicatrics units. This is a Monday-Friday job and also assisting with coverage during holidays.Job Responsibilities
Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required or the ability to obtain RD / RDN within 6 months
Licensed Dietitian status in Virginia within 6 months of hire
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition
