    Myticas's direct client based out of Lake County, IL is currently seeking a Business System Analyst-R&D for a hybrdid contract position

    Job Description:


    The business scope of the Samplicity system is to manage/update and facilitate dispersal of chemical compounds registered and ordered by internal and external customers to the discovery and DEV/SCI organization within client.

    The new software will manage inbound and outbound neat and solvated (liquid/powder) chemical compounds, assay plate production/ordering and dispersals.

    In addition, this project will include developing, implementing and deploying the Samplicity system along with integrating to other client systems (including our shipping application, ShipIt) in order to provide an improved systems platform over the current LIBRA platform.


    Responsibilities Include the Following:
    The Business System Analyst (BSA) will be accountable for the following:Define and document business requirements with multiple science groups.
    Understand the daily business operationsCoordinate meetings with business and IT leads to define requirements.

    Ability to understand specific test case scenarios and draft User Acceptance Test scriptsReview UAT scripts with key stakeholdersPerform dry-run testing of the system(s)Draft system user guides for training materialResponsible for the traceability of requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project.

    Responsible for managing deliverables and tangible tasks related to end user testing and UAT testingResponsible for working with technical lead to validate vendor releases and sprint deploymentsAssist in coordinating end-to-end testing and performance testing throughout sprint or cycle development phase of the project.

    Responsible for monitoring and tracking issues during UAT and functional testing.


    Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
    Minimum 3 to 5 years BSA experience required.
    Experienced in compound management or inventory management in pharmaceutical/healthcare companies would be preferred.
    Experienced in writing requirements for projects in pharmaceutical/healthcare companies.

    Experienced in writing and facilitating software testingExperienced with working within a R&D and life science groupExperienced in working with multiple groups and cross functional departments.

    Be able to effectively communicate progress and status of requests to team leadership,Ability to manage project tasks and deliverables to target dates and timelines.

    Ability to conduct effective team meetings both onsite and virtual (Teams).Experienced in managing technology deliverables or documents from requirements through implementation.

    Strong communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.
    Increased ability to effectively solve problems when issues are identifiedCollaborative, positive, self-motivated, team player.
