Position Summary:

In the Senior Corporate Tax Accountant role, you will be joining a close-knit corporate tax team and will be supported by a sharp, friendly, and collaborative Tax Director that has a wealth of Big 4 & F500 knowledge and experience.

The Senior Tax Accountant will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the department and will focus on federal and state income returns, tax compliance (ASC 740), financial reporting, planning, and research.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing tax filing for multiple entities, including federal & state returns

Manage state income tax notices

Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and propose strategies.

Assist in preparing ASC 740 tax accounts quarterly

Assist in tax audits, planning and strategy development.

Provide support with tax special projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Maintain and update status trackers for all required tax deliverables and tax returns.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.


Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of public accounting and/or F500 corporate tax accounting

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field

Masters in Tax or Accounting preferred

Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Strong analytical, attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications
