- Full-cycle accounting
- Ability to do the accounting for multiple companies
Prepare timely financial packages - Prepare annual budgets
- Supervise staff
- Journal entries, general ledgers, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Direct the inventory process & cost of sales processing
- Cost accounting is a plus
- Reconcile various account balances
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Maintain accounting records
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Month-end close processes (Bank Reconciliations, Accruals, Financial Reporting, GL Account Reconciliations, Billing, Payables, etc.
- Year-end close processes
- Assist with the preparation of Annual Tax Returns
- Process banking transactions, including wire transfers
- Forecasts, and other fiscal planning
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks desktop
- Clean up accounting books
- Special projects
- Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Controller in all areas of accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Strong QuickBooks experience is required
- Inventory Software knowledge is a plus
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Cost accounting knowledge is a plus
- Construction industry experience is a plus
