    CSI Recruiting is working with a leading Dallas-based energy firm on their need for a Supervisor of Operations FP&A. This role will provide oversight in the Operations FP&A department including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Assist in the oversight of the annual budget and monthly forecasting process for Operating Expenses
    • Oversee detailed variance analysis of actual financial results versus plan, forecast, and key performance metrics
    • Manage quarterly reporting of Operating Expenses and Maintenance capital provided to Senior Management and assist with 10Q and 10K Management Discussion & Analysis
    • Support analysis for investor relations and board of directors
    • Lead subject matter expert for all budget and forecasting questions related to Operating Expenses in the Crude and NGL segments
    • Identify trends in variances and make recommendations for financial improvement and optimization to management
    • Manage employees and prioritize tasks
    • Increase productivity and efficiency by developing automated reports and processes
    • Regularly present results, forecasts, and budgets to segment leadership and executive leadership
    • Provide Ad Hoc expense analysis to Operations and Commercial departments
    • Work closely with Accounting, HR, Insurance, Tax and other departments to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
    • Contribute to overall Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team goals as needed
    Requirements

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    • Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting
    • 8+ years in Finance related position, preferably in the upstream or midstream energy industry
    • 4+ years of experience in Cost Controls or Financial Planning and Analysis
    • 3+ years supervisory experience
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
    • Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
