- Assist in the oversight of the annual budget and monthly forecasting process for Operating Expenses
- Oversee detailed variance analysis of actual financial results versus plan, forecast, and key performance metrics
- Manage quarterly reporting of Operating Expenses and Maintenance capital provided to Senior Management and assist with 10Q and 10K Management Discussion & Analysis
- Support analysis for investor relations and board of directors
- Lead subject matter expert for all budget and forecasting questions related to Operating Expenses in the Crude and NGL segments
- Identify trends in variances and make recommendations for financial improvement and optimization to management
- Manage employees and prioritize tasks
- Increase productivity and efficiency by developing automated reports and processes
- Regularly present results, forecasts, and budgets to segment leadership and executive leadership
- Provide Ad Hoc expense analysis to Operations and Commercial departments
- Work closely with Accounting, HR, Insurance, Tax and other departments to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Contribute to overall Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team goals as needed
- Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting
- 8+ years in Finance related position, preferably in the upstream or midstream energy industry
- 4+ years of experience in Cost Controls or Financial Planning and Analysis
- 3+ years supervisory experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
