    Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in marine and boat fabrication, is seeking a Tig Welder to join their dedicated team. As a Tig Welder, you will be an integral part of the fabrication department supporting the production of high-quality aluminum boat structures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, dedication, and a strong understanding of welding techniques specific to aluminum, aligning seamlessly with the company's commitment to excellence and safety.

    Location: Richfield

    Pay Range: $25.50 per hour 

    Shift: 1st Shift 

    What's the Job?

    • Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum components, including pontoons, hulls, and deck structures.
    • Interpret and follow blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings to ensure precise assembly.
    • Inspect welded joints and structural components for defects, maintaining compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
    • Operate and maintain welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
    • Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, and fitting components, ensuring optimal welding conditions.

    What's Needed?

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Proven experience as an aluminum MIG/TIG welder, preferably in a boat manufacturing or marine environment.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
    • Strong knowledge of various welding techniques, processes, and equipment for aluminum.
    • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
