    As a middle school teacher at Riverbend Prep, you will embark on an academic journey with students into more advanced terrain. Your role is instrumental in nurturing these skills, aligning with our mission to prepare students for a more equitable society through education.

    As a middle school teacherr, you are a crucial contributor to students' intellectual growth and development. Your commitment to advancing reading skills, mathematical proficiency, advanced writing, scientific inquiry, and global awareness directly contributes to Riverbend Prep's continued growth and mission fulfillment.

    Responsibilities
    • Curriculum Delivery: meticulously planning and delivering structured lessons that align with the curriculum, ensuring that learning objectives are clear and attainable for all students. This involves implementing effective teaching strategies, maintaining a well-organized classroom, and adapting your lessons to cater to diverse learning needs, fostering an environment conducive to academic growth and student success.
    • Student Engagement: Creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and a passion for learning.
    • Assessment and Progress Tracking: Regularly assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of progress.
    • Parent Communication: Establishing open and effective communication with parents or guardians to keep them informed of student progress and address any concerns.
    • Professional Development: Actively participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on current educational practices.
    • Other duties as assigned.
