DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will be clinical staff for one of our clinic providers: will perform intake on patients including medical/social history, current complaint(s), vitals, medications, allergies, etc.
Will assist provider with procedures, notify patients of test results. Responsible for patient care including assessment, treatment and education utilizing knowledge of basic medical principles. Providing open and timely communication with patients and families. Primarily based in the pediatric clinic.RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) years experience preferredCurrent
CPREDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma/ GEDCurrent Colorado RN/LPN License, or Graduate of accredited CMA programPHYSICAL/
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Continuous movement throughout the clinicIntermittent bending, kneeling, and squattingContinuous standing (up to 7 hours)Ability to lift up to 30% of your body weightAbility to read and understand EnglishAbility to communicate verbally and in writingAbility to interact with physicians, patients, families and staff in a professionalmanner in stressful situations.
