    Description
    Position Overview RMGS, Inc
    is currently recruiting a Technical Writer in Virginia Beach, VA; Washington, DC; Indian Head, MD, in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), McAlester Detachment
    **This position is contingent upon contract award


    • Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Analyze and prepare documentation, writing, editing, and interpreting technical documentation standards and preparing documentation accordingly.
    • Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.
    • Coordinates the display of graphics and the production of the document.
    • Ensures content is of high quality and conforms with standards

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university in English, Communications, or Information Technology.
    • At least three years of experience, background, and knowledge of one or more Defense Programs is required.
    • Written communication, ability to explain concepts clearly.
    • Planning and organization skills
    • Knowledge of software and computers
    • Possesses attention to detail and multitasking.
    • Secret security clearance or the ability to qualify for such clearance upon employment.
