General Purpose of Job

This position has the responsibility to provide Member Service support for centralized functions such as New Services (New Construction), Special Interest Collections and Capital Credit Transfers. This position is responsible for processing other member requests and addressing inquiries and complaints via multi-channel contact. Employees in this position will provide information to members to promote SECO products and services and to solicit program participation.

Education

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• Minimum: Two (2) years responsible experience in a customer service or call center environment requiring computer knowledge and data entry responsibilities.
• Preferred: Experience in New Services (New Construction), Special Interest, Capital credits, Prepaid Metering or Online Member Service.
• Preferred: Experience in similar work with an electric utility or related industry.

Other Requirements

• Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including a personal computer, printers, copy machines and telephone.
• Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations.
• A valid Florida driver's license for occasional driving privileges of a company vehicle; must have and maintain an acceptable driving record as determined by SECO Energy.
• Normal work hours shall be eight (8) hours between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
• Location: HQ with some traveling to the Ardice Office.

Driving Requirements

• Valid Florida Driver's License
