Job summary
The Director of Chemistry Facilities and Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Chemistry Department at Stony Brook University. This position will be responsible for managing budgets, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing technical support for research proposals.
Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Provide leadership in managing all aspects of the business including operational planning, business/program development, and fiscal management.
- Facility Management: Assist the Building Manager in the planning of capital projects rehabs renovation with goal keeping Chemistry Building safe efficient facility supporting ever changing directions educational research programs Chemistry Department.
