Requirements / Qualifications

All Nutrition Services Professional are 181 work days per year. All split shift positions receive a 5% split shift differential.

Anna Borba Elementary School (Split Shift), hours:

Monday through Friday 7 AM to 8 AM; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:45 AM to 1:15 PM AND Wednesday 9 AM to 11:30 PM.

Butterfield Ranch Elementary School, hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11 AM to 1 PM AND Thursday 9:45 AM to 11:45 AM.


Country Springs Elementary School, hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 11 AM to 1 PM AND Wednesday 10 AM to 12 PM


Liberty Elementary School, hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11 AM to 1 PM AND Tuesday 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM


Walnut Elementary School, hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11 AM to 1 PM AND Tuesday 9:30 AM to 11:30 PM.


Cal Aero Preserve Academy, hours:
7 AM to 11:30 AM. Legacy Academy (2 positions)

An offer of employment in this classification is contingent upon passing a physical examination AND obtaining a San Bernardino County Food Handler Card


REQUIREMENTS:
Basic kitchen skills. Experience in kitchen work and serving.

Education equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade, preferably supplemented by courses in cafeteria management, safety and sanitation, and related subjects.

• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two (2) letters - must be signed and dated within the last 24 months. Only electronic or wet signatures will be accepted.)

OR Letter(s) of Reference (Two (2) letters - must be signed and dated within the last 24 months. Only electronic or wet signatures will be accepted.)

• Proof of HS Graduation (Education equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade.)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
All application materials for each applicant will be evaluated by a screening committee. A combination of written, oral, and performance tests may be administered to secure the best qualified applicants. Those who are deemed best qualified will be scheduled for an interview.
