    Hello,

    One of our banking clients is looking for a Java Engineer (6+ years experience) to join their growing team. Hybrid in Chicago or New York, W2 only. 6 Month Contract to hire.

    Skills:

    Java, Springboot, kafka, Microservices

    Desired Technical Qualifications

    At least 6-8 years of proven professional experience with Java;

    Excellent software engineering principles (data structures, multithreading and algorithms);

    Experience with Spring framework;

    Excellent relational databases skills;

    Excellent knowledge about application architecture, clean code and good practices;

    Very good knowledge about Kafka and its concepts;

    Nice to have:

    Experience with any NoSQL database;

    Experience using Docker;

    Experience in containerizing applications and using Kubernetes;

    Experience with Maven or Gradle;
