WAGNER is actively seeking to enhance its international footprint, particularly focusing on expanding its operations in the US and Canada. For the US subsidiary, WAGNER Fire Safety, Inc., situated in the greater Chicago area, there is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Treasurer & Controller to join the team. Reporting directly to the President & CEO of WAGNER Fire Safety Inc., this role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities in finance, controlling, benefits administration, and corporate planning.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily finance and administration tasks including month/year end closing.
• Managing financial activities related to cost accounting, tax, and accounts payable.
• Driving process improvements and fostering collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Handling benefits administration and procurement functions.
• Ensuring compliance with controls and financial reporting standards.
• Coordinating with external service providers and auditors.
• Developing and monitoring business plans and financial performance.
• Collaborating with various business units to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Owning responsibilities related to the office location in Buffalo Grove, IL.
• Implementing cash flow management strategies and control measures.
• Other tasks as assigned to support organizational objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with financial systems such as SoS-Inventory, Quickbooks, or SAP Concur.
• Knowledge of tax and import/export regulations.
• Experience in project accounting and business operations.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a hands-on approach.
• Strong attention to detail, process orientation, and result-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in French, Spanish, or German languages is advantageous.
