    Paralegal Job Opportunity at Leading Texas Family Law Firm

    Position:

    • Paralegal

    Location:

    • Dallas, Texas (with hybrid schedule options)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare legal documents (pleadings, motions, court orders) for attorney review and use.
    • Correspond with clients; prepare spreadsheets and documents for Inventory, appraisal, and Proposed Support Decisions.
    • File pleadings with court clerks.
    • Coordinate the delivery of subpoenas.
    • Conduct intake calls with potential new clients; prepare attorneys for consultations.
    • Assist attorneys in preparing for mediations, depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
    • Resolve recurring problems in family law cases.
    • Draft discovery requests; manage due dates; prepare correspondence to opposing counsels/parties.
    • Assist clients in complying with discovery requests and compiling requested documents.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of Texas Family Law experience.
    • Solid understanding of the Texas Family Code and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with superior attention to detail.
    • Excellent prioritization, problem-solving, and time management skills.
    • Ability to learn and utilize new software, technology, and techniques.
    • Creativity, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
    • Undergraduate degree and paralegal certificate/certification preferred but not required.
