    Summary/Objective

    The maintenance associate cleans the working environment for all staff and visitors, ensuring all areas are safe.

    Assists other departments as required.

    Supervisory ResponsibilityNone

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week

    Job Summary & Requirements

    Essential Functions/Responsibilities

    •Maintains outside walk areas, including sweeping debris and washing walkways.

    •Cleans and polishes fixtures.

    •Removes recycling materials, empty trash

    •Performs routine maintenance, such as touchup painting, on building interior and exterior.

    •Performs custodial duties such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping and dusting.

    •Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors.

    •Maintains cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies and breakrooms.

    •Maintains cleanliness of offices areas and production floor.

    •Assists Maintenance department wherever needed.

    •Follow proper procedures around safety, chemical handling, handling of hazardous waste, including safety of power equipment.

    Competencies

    •Technical capacity.

    •Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    •Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

    Education and Experience

    •High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Physical Requirements

    Will be required to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. Must be able to lift, and/or move, up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and or move more than 100 pounds.
