    Job Summary (basic description)

    The Data Scientist is responsible for:

    Develop technologies to explore in-house data.
    Build tools and applications for use internally and externally.
    Develop libraries and dashboards for quantitative analysis.
    Utilize statistical methods to test hypotheses.
    Utilize machine learning techniques for regression and classification tasks.
    Analyze textual data to create data visualization dashboards.
    Qualifications/Skills Required

    Required

    1 year of experience as Data Analyst or related occupation

    Demonstrated experience with:
    utilizing statistical methods for hypothesis testing; developing regression models; analyzing textual data (NLP); building libraries and data queries using SQL; writing code and libraries/modules in R and Python; developing tools and applications in web-application framework; and creating data visualization dashboards
    Educational Requirements

    Master's degree in Data Science, Statistical Modeling or related field
    Remote Optional within Houston metro area
