    Provide hands-on technical support as a part of our 20-member Systems Team to our over 250 users, who working with a wide variety of industry standard applications on hundreds of servers
    Assist the team with responding to a wide variety of technical issues, ranging from the routine to complex and challenging
    Perform hardware upgrades for PCs and thin clients as well as Windows and software application installations, configurations, and troubleshooting
    Assist with the maintenance of the corporate hardware inventory
    Assist with other user support related duties as assigned

    [Please note that this position will be based at our headquarters in Calverton, MD, though on-site support of our users in our Rockville, MD office may also be required.

    [To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

    AA/AS degree in IS, IT, or related field from an institution considered accredited by the U.S. DOE, with a 2.9+ GPA

    [2 years of professional Windows desktop administration experience ]{arial",sans-serif"=""}

    BA/BS degree in IS, IT, or related field from an institution deemed accredited by the U.S. DOE with a 2.9+ GPA is considered equivalent to the 2 years of related professional experience.

    Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems

    Familiarity with Microsoft System Center or another configuration management tool preferred

    Basic understanding of programming logic (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)

    Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills

    Demonstrated ability to relay technical information to users in layman terms

    Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills

    Demonstrated customer service skills

    Excellent attention to detail and organization skills

    Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work within a team

    Strong presentation skills preferred

    Ability to use a personal vehicle for local travel
