Job summary

The Alan B. Miller Medical Center will join UHS' growing regional network of healthcare operations which includes Wellington Regional Medical Center, the ER at Westlake an extension of Wellington Regional Medical Center, Wellington Physicians Urgent Care and other healthcare services and access points The new state-of-the-art hospital will feature 150 private patient rooms a medical office building and a helistop Upon completion of the initial phase of the project the hospital campus will include 365000 square feet of hospital and medical office space

Responsibilities

• Provides shift to shift oversight for clinical practice staffing patient flow safety service and utilization of resources for daily operations Maintains the environment of care Provides care to patients in a competent capable caring and efficient manner The care provided is appropriate to the age of the patients Role models organizational values Provides real-time feedback to staff to improve performance Leads/Participates in department process improvement to improve projects outcomes Facilitates employee engagement activities including professional/shared governance participation
