The role
As the Software Quality Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IoT connectivity management platforms.
You will lead a team of skilled QA professionals, define testing strategies, and implement best practices to guarantee the delivery of high-quality software products.
Expertise in Selenium testing is a key requirement for this role.Responsibilities include:
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the QA team.
Testing Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for IoT connectivity solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, test cases, and testing schedules.
Selenium Testing Expertise:
Leverage expertise in Selenium testing to automate test cases and ensure efficient and effective test coverage.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in Selenium testing and incorporate relevant technologies into the testing process.
Quality Assurance Processes:
Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of testing processes to identify areas for improvement.
Issue Identification and Resolution:
Work closely with development teams to identify and address software defects and issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve critical issues impacting product quality.
Reporting and Documentation:
Generate and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
Provide regular reports on testing progress, defect metrics, and overall product quality.
Skills required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience 3 years as a Software QA Manager or a similar role in the software industry.
Strong expertise in Selenium testing for web applications.
Solid understanding of IoT technologies and connectivity solutions would be an advantage.
