Join Education Travel and Culture ETC a non-profit [501 c3] organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young individuals through transformative cultural exchange programs in the United States and abroad Our goal is to welcome candidates who share our passion for spreading international goodwill and understanding and take pride in being a part of our mission p As a Local Coordinator LC you play a vital role in expanding our program s reach contributing to the success of our mission and ensuring a positive experience for all program participants p Although part-time successful local coordinators are enthusiastic about sharing our mission and make the relationship building process a part of their daily life p Key Responsibilities Include Identify recruit and screen qualified host families Establish nurture relationships with potential host families school administrators community influencers Engage person with exchange students host families local high schools including monthly meetings group student activities periodic orientations Represent promote ETC in your community through social media email marketing press releases local media other avenues This is an independent contractor position that is family-friendly flexible complements busy schedule HoursMonth Much work can be from home on own schedule Annual performance-based incentive trips including international travel opportunities Potential growth management position Learn culture working alongside high-school exchange students volunteer families throughout year feel fulfilled knowing positive impact making Opportunity mentor support exchange students volunteer families throughout year feel fulfilled knowing positive impact making Compensation Up $1700 per full year student placed with host family supervised bonuses travel incentives NOTE Salary range based average supplemental income per year However there no limit amount Local Coordinator earn annually As independent contractor you can earn supplemental income based successful host family recruitment efforts supporting students while here US Ability earn various bonus incentives throughout year Local Coordinators active ETC 2 years qualify additional compensation recruitment supervision You also qualify 5–7 day ETC Annual Travel Incentive Trip Prior Incentive trip locations Italy Cozumel Maui Germany Costa Rica Spain Cancun Japan Travelling Requirement Applicants must have ability drive person visits therefore must Live within miles listed city Have valid Driver License HOSTING EXCHANGE STUDENT If love mission but local coordinator role not right fit at this time consider hosting exchange student For more information hosting opportunity please email us
