Job summary
This is the first step of the Genetic Curation Scientist career track.The Genetic Curation Scientist (GCS) Step 1 will be responsible for the classification of genetic variants following the ACMG guidelines and using a combination of internal proprietary software, published scientific literature, and publicly available databases.
The GCS will determine the pathogenicity of DNA sequence variants found in real-time in patients and will customize clinical report text in collaboration with laboratory directors and genetic counselors.
