Service Delivery EngineerLechlade30, ,000 Per AnnumOur long standing client, leaders in their industry are looking for a Service Delivery Engineer to join their ever growing teamService Delivery Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:Be the first point of contact for IT issues, following them, through to ensure they are completeWork within a virtual team to provide support to staff around the globe with IT issues escalating where necessary to other teamsResponsible for any escalated calls and will ensure that these are resolved acceptably to both partiesSupport local systems such as servers, storage telecoms and networking as well as managing company phone systems and time clock systemsEnsure adequate backups are completed and monitor the availability of global systems through existing portalsBe responsible for logging/ resolving /escalate issuesProvide technical assistance and training to computer users on the application software, hardware and computer services and be responsible for IT hardware and software inventoryAbility to internalise and advocate the customers positionPrecise and have attention to detail, meeting commitments and delivering continual improvement within communicated and well managed budgetary restrictionsThe ideal Service Delivery Engineer will:Knowledge of ITIL Service Management and process execution is a benefitKnowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems to Windows 10 client and Windows Server 2016Knowledge of VMware vSphere infrastructureKnowledge of HP server and storage technologiesExperience of working in a global multinational companyKnowledge of VOIP and PBX systemsKnowledge of Office 365 and its applicationsKnowledge of Symantec Backup Exec version 14 to 20.3At least 3 years experience in ITBenefits:Enhanced pension contributionsHealthcare cashback planEmployee assistance and Site incentive planFinancial wellbeing benefitDiscounted online and high street shopping and lifestyle vouchersDiscounted RAC membershipDiscounted Gym membership and Cycle to Work Scheme195 hours annual leave plus bank holidaysJackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 26 years.
