    is looking to hire a

    Systems Test Engineer

    to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program.

    The primary work location is the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) on Schriever Space Force Base, CO.

    The Systems Engineer's primary responsibility is to work as a member of the C2BMC-G test team to test the C2BMC-G product and interactions with other external entities.

    The successful Systems Engineer should have demonstrated contributions focusing on testing a complex system against a specified set of requirements and warfighter needs.

    The person should also have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, clearly present technical approaches and findings, and have experience writing and implementing project test plans.

    Non-standard work hours are highly likely during event execution, and a small amount of travel may be required.

    Essential Functions:
    The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications-Global(C2BMC-G) Task Order is fast-paced and dynamic. C2BMC-G is responsible for developing and integrating Space Domain capabilities into the C2BMC framework for the Space Domain Community.

    C2BMC-G needs to augment the team with a mid-level systems engineer who holds a Secret clearance (TS/SCI desired) and possesses demonstrable skills in Engineering new capabilities.

    Generate detailed and repeatable tests. Good communication skills (written and oral). This position will focus on the verification and validation of the C2BMC-G Product.

    This may include activities such as coordination with external partners for completing system-to-system tests, Coordinating with Development teams for background on system improvements, testing the C2BMC-G product through requirement verification, authoring and verifying bugs, and participating in system-of-system test events for the validation of the C2BMC Product as a whole.

    The Engineer will apply these results to identify and work to enhance C2BMC-G for future operations.

    The Engineer must understand system development processes and principles and communicate the desired capabilities to various developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and system users.

    The Engineer should be comfortable with rapidly changing requirements, design challenges that require novel solutions, fast-paced activities, and tight deadlines.


    Basic Qualifications:
    Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.
    An active Secret clearance
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Math, Science, Engineering, or Software Engineering

    5+ years of experience working in an integrated team environment with other systems, software, and specialty engineers to develop solutions that include a background in all systems development life cycle aspects.

    Must understand systems engineering, systems design and development - experience in a related engineering environment, with good experience and expertise in systems-of-systems definition and integration.

    Responsible for identifying required resources, developing and understanding mission objectives for the system(s) under test, developing data archival and analysis plans, and developing post mission reports.

    The candidate should understand and have had previous experience with various event board approval structures, including MDIOC and BMDSS support processes, the MDA/BC approval chain and National Team engineering boards (PERB, CEAT).

    The candidate will be responsible for configuration management and control of test resources, articles, and tools for data collection during the event.

    The candidate will also serve as the I&T liaison to other C2BMC test participants and MDA/BCT test managers.

    • Candidate must have experience working in an integrated team environment with other systems, software, and specialty engineers to develop solutions using NT or similar processes and methods.

    Demonstrable ability to develop briefings and convey complex ideas in writing, be comfortable working in a team environment, be a quick study, hard worker, and interested and capable of adapting to changing technology.

    DOD 8570 IAT II certification (Security +, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

    The ideal candidate will also have experience with the operation of C2BMC, knowledge of the system configuration, experience with the system operation, how to navigate display screens, and the concept of system operations.

    Experience with approval boards from other organizations sponsoring such tests (e.g. JIAMDO, AFSPC, JFCC-IMD, etc) is highly desirable.
    Prior experience interacting with JAT, MDDC, and other related organizations.

    Experience with network applications and networking concepts is desired along with experience with military systems used in missile defense such as AN/TPY2, SBIRS/BOA, Aegis, THAAD, Patriot, and SBX, including their operational characteristics.


    Salary Range:


    The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level ($99,610 - $113,00).
