    Nature of Work
    Performs first level supervisory work involving the security operations of the Orlando Venues. Primary responsibilities include: ensuring that all security assignments and protocols are followed, monitoring and review of security officer work, assist security management with establishing performance standards, and personnel related actions. Employees assigned to this class are expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment while ensuring compliance with security procedures. Work is performed under the supervision of the Security Management and performance is reviewed through evaluation of surveillance reports, direct observation, discussions with management, co-workers, and patrons and results obtained. Minimum Requirements

    High school graduate plus three (3) years security or law enforcement experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Some lead or supervisory experience desired. Must pass background investigation which includes polygraph. Required to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. CPR Certification and First Aid Card desired. A valid Florida Drivers license is required.

    If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:

    • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
    • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
    • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
    • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
