    Description
    Plant Manager directs manufacturing operations and procedures to support strategic direction in Operations. Establish operations initiatives for improvement in safety, delivery, quality, cost, and team member relations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Lead a collaborative culture based on the company values of Integrity, Commitment, Partnership, Innovation and Family.
    Hands on leadership in establishing operations standards for safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost control, process improvement and waste reduction.

    Establishes manufacturing policies in manufacturing techniques, material usage, shipping and receiving, capacity planning, production scheduling, safety, employee relations and operational performance.

    Directs and oversees the department's operations budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements.

    Utilize production data and reports to communicate manufacturing performance indicators (OEE, Cost / Ton etc.) and identify constraints and increase throughput.

    Identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, enhancing the organization's resilience and adaptability.
    Facility management, making sure the facility meets all manufacturing and day-to-day operation requirements.
    Identify, develop and implement capital planning projects.
    Maintain compliance to ISO Quality Standard.
    Maintain compliance to all environmental standards and permits.
    Develop and execute corrective and preventive action plans.
    Provide regular reports and updates to the senior leadership team on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.

    Qualifications:


    Must have a strong technical background and have a general understanding of the function and operation of roll forming, galvanizing, and steel processing.

    Demonstrated ability to create and lead teams and drive change.
    Interpersonal skills to effectively lead and influence across the organizational boundaries.
    Demonstrated continuous improvement and problem-solving skills such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
    Must have demonstrated computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, and how to utilize them to obtain optimum efficiencies.
    Education/Experience

    Bachelor's Degree preferred in a technical discipline.
    A minimum of five (5) years of Roll Forming Industry experience.
    Union workforce experience preferred.
