Job Description:
The EMRF Division is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to support an anticipated program award. This position will be responsible for financial forecasting, program financial execution, EVMS, and various ad hoc analyses.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing the control of the budget for large and/or complex programs.
Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
Conducts detailed financial analysis.Interprets and implements most proposal estimating, pricing and documentation requirements.
Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree in Finance or Accounting and a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Must have experience with Earned Value Management(EVMS)
Preferred Additional Skills:
Strong teamwork and business partnering skills
Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills
Experience with MPM, PeopleSoft, and ProPricer
Experience with cost/schedule development, budgeting, Excel spreadsheets, Customer/Management reporting, and forecasting
Process improvement oriented, ability to identify and implement improvement ideas
Self-motivated accurate, and strong analytical/organizational skills
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $85,000- $145,000 in California.
This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
