Position: Housekeeper
Shift: Friday - Tuesday 8:00pm - 5:00am
Location: Independent Living
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in housekeeping or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure that all residents rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning and floor care.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding resident information and adhere to hospitality standards.
Skills
- Proficient in housekeeping management techniques and custodial practices.
- Knowledge of floor care methods and equipment used in industrial cleaning settings.
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles to enhance guest experiences.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
The successful candidate will need to pass a criminal history check.
