JCW has partnered with a growing Consulting firm looking to expand their Design team with a Structural Engineer. This person will be responsible for investigating and managing claims of construction defects.
This is a remote position requiring some travel around Sarasota County - must have reliable transportation.
ResponsibilitiesAssist staff in conducting condition assessments to determine necessary repairs of damaged structural systemsDevelop project outlines for forensic investigations/ testing for construction claimsWork with attorneys in the preparation of construction defect claimsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or ArchitectureProfessional Engineering (P.E.) license required, or must be Registered ArchitectProficiency in AutoCAD systemsFor more information on this position or any others, please contact Elise Giard at
