- Enter results in the referral tracking system.
- Monitor current referrals for missing results.
- Log all correspondence in the referral tracking note system.
- Check hospital systems for missing reports.
- Follow up with specialist's offices for outstanding consult letters.
- Notify physicians of missed referral appointments.
- Run weekly reports on referral status.
- Inform Referral Correspondents, providers, and key support staff of any issues or results.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of insurance regulations related to referrals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer programs.
- Basic medical terminology knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and maintain confidentiality.
- Bilingualism preferred.
- Fluency in multiple languages strongly desirable.

Job Summary: Responsible for inputting and monitoring referral results in the practice management system, under the guidance of the Managed Care Coordinator.
