    Description
    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Feed material to equipment using the grapple crane or any other crane as assigned.
    • Unload log trucks and stage loads around the crane to ensure proper log rotation.
    • Keep up the area outside and adjacent to crane.
    • Performs and completes all items listed on preventative maintenance sheets at the beginning of each shift.
    • Effectively communicate to all team members and management any equipment deficiencies.
    • Meticulous attention to detail; able to follow instruction both written and verbal.
    • Ensure workers adhere to local, state and federal codes and regulations.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
    • High school diploma or equivalent education.
    • Two years' experience crane experience.
    • One year of in plant manufacturing experience.
    • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding and ramps.
    • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, shovel, rake and any necessary requirements to keep are clean and safe.
    • Ability to work extended hours to includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lift 50 pounds required.

    HIGHLAND PELLETS BENEFIT PACKAGE:
    • Medical - Employee premiums paid to a total of $500 per month. (this covers employee only and some of children/spouse if that coverage is chosen.)

    • Two weeks vacation (prorated based on start or term date) accruing at 1.54 hours per pay period as of first week of work.
