- Feed material to equipment using the grapple crane or any other crane as assigned.
- Unload log trucks and stage loads around the crane to ensure proper log rotation.
- Keep up the area outside and adjacent to crane.
- Performs and completes all items listed on preventative maintenance sheets at the beginning of each shift.
- Effectively communicate to all team members and management any equipment deficiencies.
- Meticulous attention to detail; able to follow instruction both written and verbal.
- Ensure workers adhere to local, state and federal codes and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Two years' experience crane experience.
- One year of in plant manufacturing experience.
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding and ramps.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, shovel, rake and any necessary requirements to keep are clean and safe.
- Ability to work extended hours to includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lift 50 pounds required.
- Medical - Employee premiums paid to a total of $500 per month. (this covers employee only and some of children/spouse if that coverage is chosen.)
