- Provide medical care and support to the student during bus transportation.
- Monitor the student's condition throughout the journey and be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, particularly seizures.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of the student during transit.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals regarding the student's medical needs and any changes in condition.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations at all times.
- Valid nursing license in Michigan.
- Experience working with students with medical needs, preferably experience with seizures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Bus Nurse to accompany a student with medical needs on their daily commute between Redford and the Northville program. The selected candidate will ride the bus with the student in the morning from the school to the Northville program and then return with the student in the afternoon.
